Print advertising can still be a powerful way to promote your products and services if it’s properly targeted, but will always be less effective than video. What if there was a way to combine both?
In this short presentation, you can see how Ford has cleverly combined both using QR Codes. Ford invites you to place your phone over the ad after scanning the QR Code and a static print ad is converted into a video product demonstration.
You could also use this same technology to present a video interview that completes your print message. The possibilities are endless. I have been sceptical of QR Codes in the past, because they usually take you to a static landing page. This application really compliments and completes the print ad. It’s like a missing piece of a puzzle that you feel compelled to finish.
